In the first quarter of 2025, we saw Gen AI-enabled tools enhance productivity, streamline processes and unlock new growth opportunities for both software companies and their customers.

Looking ahead, Vista believes that Gen AI and agentic AI have the potential to dramatically expand the addressable opportunity for enterprise software businesses while also driving significant cost savings. Fueled by this belief, 95% of our majority-owned portfolio companies have committed to releasing new Gen AI products in 2025.¹
